Important works in Mineralogy

"From the invention of movable type printing by Gutenberg around 1450, till the beginning of the x-ray diffraction era in 1912, thousands of books covering the areas of mineralogy and crystallography have been published. The purpose of the book collection of the Virtual Museum is to give an overview of important, influential as well as attractive and desirable works that were issued in that period. We do not show ideal copies, but real books that are described as they are. The book collection in the Virtual Museum is arranged by the name of the author in alphabetical order followed by the year of publication (with "nd" for: no date) and the title." Link The books are at: Link -- Jonathan Grobe
